The Beginning
From Construction Sites to Software

Home Build Flow was created to solve exactly that problem. Founded by Jennifer Von Strohe, the platform draws directly from the real-world experience of managing luxury custom home builds from groundbreak to handover. Through managing complex residential projects with dozens of dependencies between trades and phases, a methodology emerged—one that consistently produced successful outcomes when followed rigorously.
The insight was straightforward: if you could codify this proven process into software, then any builder following it would achieve the same predictable, high-quality results. That is what Home Build Flow does. It takes a methodology refined through managing real builds—structure, external envelope, plant room, first fix services, floor systems, internal close-up, bathrooms, flooring, second fix, external works, and final stage—and turns it into a digital operating system.
The platform started as an internal tool for managing a single luxury home build. Its effectiveness was immediately clear: schedules tightened, coordination improved, and the gap between planned milestones and actual completion shrank dramatically. That success validated the core hypothesis and set the stage for building Home Build Flow into a platform that any custom home builder can adopt.

Jennifer Von Strohebrings a construction industry background to Home Build Flow. Having personally managed luxury custom home builds and navigated the complex coordination challenges involved—from scheduling dozens of trades to tracking critical path dependencies across overlapping phases—she understood firsthand where the industry's project management tools fell short. Home Build Flow is the system she wished existed when running builds: one that codifies proven methodology into repeatable, digital workflows so that every project benefits from the same systematic approach.
